To maintain our current level of expenditure it costs around £1200 per day. Some of our funding comes from grants from bodies such as South Bucks District Council, Wycombe District Council, Housing Associations' Charitable Trusts, the National Lottery and regular donations from local churches, Parish Councils, Rotary Clubs, The Lions and similar community organisations.
However there is a significant funding gap.
There are lots of ways you can help us to raise money and every penny counts.
There are numerous ways in which your company can partner Padstones. Particularly if you are looking to support a local charity as part of your CSR programme. Here are just a few ways in which you can help:
If you are considering running a marathon, climbing a mountain, feasting, fasting, biking or any other challenge, then please consider raising money for Padstones.
Also you can help by supporting one of our events. Click here to see our Event Calendar.
At Padstones, we believe that money spent now in helping young homeless people brings big savings later on. If you can help and would like to make a donation. Please click here to download our Donation Leaflet. You can post, email or fax the completed form to 'The General Manager'. Click here for contact information.
If you or your company would like to become a Friend of Padstones, please contact us.
Ruth was the first of a total of seven residents over the last five years to leave Padstones to study at university. Ruth was referred by a young people's advice agency as she could no longer live at home.
She was supported during a personal difficult stage by her Keyworker, whilst also studying for her A levels. Despite her difficulties she kept in regular contact during her university years. Two years ago she graduated from university and is now a fully fledged social worker.
